The Comedy of Phyllis Yvonne Stickney, Hosted by Marvin Aultry.

Phyllis Yvonne Stickney was born in Little Rock, Arkansas.  A familiar face to moviegoers, Phyllis has appeared in such films as "New Jack City," "Jungle Fever," "What's Love Got to Do With It," and "How Stella Got Her Groove Back."

Her tv guest appearances include "The Cosby Show," "Law and Order," "New York Undercover" and "Linc's."  Phyllis was a series regular in the shor lived series "New Attitude."

Phyllis is also a well known comedian.  She was an opening act for singers Patti Labelle and Roberta Flack ans she was a warm up announcer for "The Cosby Show."

Phyllis is an accomplished writer who produced "The Upper Room," a weekly poet and writer's workshop in Los Angeles and New York, as well as "The Comedy Connection," a weekly comedy venue production at New York's Cotton Club in 1991.  In January 2001, she made her directing debut as director and star of the gospel stage play "Been There Done That" starring Judge Greg Mathis and Stellar Award Winner Fred Hammond.  Phyllis is the Founder/Executive Director for a non-profit community based organization called Alternative Careers in the Arts and Private Stock Studio.
